Brain - Heart & Consciousness 2

This course  is open to all BCST practitioners. There is no need to have done Brain Heart Consciouness 1

This four-day postgraduate seminar - Part 2  - will expand on our understanding of structure, function and potency of the brain. We we review to differentiate brain structures, its nucleii, brain physiology and its connection with the heart. We will deepen into further brain structures, which are important to bring the brain back to its original potential.  The emphasis on this course is to equip the  practioner with  tools  for treating  various conditons like headaches, concussions and other brain related conditons. We will fine-tune our sensitive touch to contact the brain in a way to support change and support neuroplasticity.

In this course we will expand on differentiation of  important brain areas. We will deepen into  the sturctures around the 3. vntricle, pitutitary, hypothalamus and pineal, explore more about the lymbic system, the cerebellum and brain stem. Limbic system and Insula are important structures to understand and support the "emotional" and "feeling" brain. 

The Heart Brain, having developed together, have an intricate network of neurons and a unique blood flow. Apprechiating blood, and its vessels and pathways can help to support and repair the neural matrix.  The physical and energetic Heart plays an extraordinary role in our lives. The interaction and communication between the heart and the brain play a monumental role in deciding bodily health.

We will open up to various States of Consciousness, and explore the Neural Matrix in its expressions of Primary Respiration. 

Course Content

• Review Brain, nucleii, the different lobes,  Corpus callosum and spinal cord and the Neural Matrix 
• Neuroplasticity
• Cerebrospinal fluid  - nourishment, waste removal, and protection to the brain
• Around the 3. ventricle - Pitutitary, Hypothalamus, Pineal 
• Limbic system and Insula
• Cerebellum - Brainstem - Reticular formation 
• The heart - brain interaction, blood, vessels and circulation
• Brain Heart embryology 
• Various States of Consciousness 
• Primary respiration - Expression of the brain in different Tides
• Clinical relationship ( brain fog, headaches, migraines, concenetration issues, concussion, stroke......) 

Practice of Qi Gong and experiential Meditations to enhance our awareness and felt sense will be part of the daily schedule.
